Grassroots
We understand local sport
Refbook features have been carefully considered for application at local and grassroots activities. Many of the competition settings are optional during setup, allowing assignors to make their platform as complex or simple as they wish.
Key features for grassroots sports
Auto Assignment
Refbook’s innovative auto assignment function takes the hard work out of filling games. In just a few clicks you can assign your schedule using pre-set rules and criteria. Get valuable time back for training and development rather than rostering.
Appointment deniability
Sometimes you just want the roster to be the roster. Turn off deniability to publish appointments as being automatically confirmed.
Game claiming
Turn on game claiming when wanting officials to ‘close out’ the appointments (shifts) once completed. The quick-select bulk claim allows officials to process a batch of games ready for payment.
Assistant Assignors
Get the help you need by sharing the load across primary and assistant assignors.
Self-service replacements
For competitions with many games to manage, it can be difficult and time consuming to track changes once appointments are published. The ‘find your own’ replacement and/or swap features lets your officials work it out themselves.
Forms
Make use of Refbook’s inbuilt form builder for your most common data applications. Ideas include venue inspections, incident reports, tribunal reports, disciplinary logging, supervisor summaries, observer/educator feedback, crew assessments…there’s no limit.
Highlight problem games
Be kept up to date with games needing positions attention. Quickly identify which appointments are unfilled or unconfirmed, before it’s too close to game-time.
Venue staffing
Developed for assignments that are venue and time based rather than game-specific. Manage off-field positions such as venue supervisors, observers, mentors, video operators and even the kiosk staff!
